Phields appreciation for art began in Europe where she spent many summers with her grandparents, who were avid art collectors, in the Netherlands. Her passion for art continued as she grew older. Phields won a scholarship to study at the Prague Institute of Classical Studies for painting, and now lives and paints in Seattle. The beauty of her work can be found with daisies and other floral subjects. She is represented by galleries across the United States and Europe.
